DIY-Chairs with Flair

CIMG3633
The weekend was coming up and Doctor J was going to be working.  In addition to getting together with some new friends, I wanted to do a project with some of my free time.  Enter my first DIY.

During Doctor J's bachelor days he picked out some chairs from a local thrift store.  Now, I am all about thrift store shopping, but these chairs had seen better days.

My mom casually said, why don't you paint your chairs.  I thought to myself, this sounds like a great DIY project!  Little did I know how challenging this was going to be.

6 trips to the hardware store, 5 paint brushes, 4 spray paint cans, 3 outfit changes, 2 cans of varnish remover, 1 bag of steel wood and the project was complete.  My most challenging obstacle was the 105 degree heat.

Mission: Take boring brown chairs and add some FLAIR:
