Today is day 6 of 7 of a week long event I am working for an accounting firm. After putting in an 18 hour day yesterday, coffee is the only thing keeping me going.
I don't know how these Doctors do it! I woke up with what felt like a killer hangover, which I'm sure is due to lack of sleep. It is amazing how great we can feel after a great night of sleep and how miserable we can feel when we need some.
Now sitting at my desk, after my group is in another breakout session, this vanilla latte I am drinking is warming my heart.
As a non-coffee drinker, I am just discovering my bond with the bean and it's love.
How dependent are you on your morning coffee? Do you drink more than one cup a day? What is your coffee drink of choice?

*Just* today I posted a whole gift guide on coffee! I've become seriously addicted the past few years! I recently discovered your blog and I love it! super cute idea.
xx
I'm a tea drinker. Totally addicted. I drink black tea until noon and green tea until 4. I think coffee is stronger. But if you're working 18 hour days...you need something a bit stronger.
I discovered the amazingness that is coffee a bit ago but only "fancy" coffee drinks! Iced coffee has been my friend all summer in really long days. Pretty sure rob couldn't make it through residency without it!
i can't really go without either coffee or tea in the morning! because really, nothing wakes you up and KEEPS you up better!
Luckily after moving to the non-profit world I have been able to cut back to one *big* cup a day. But if I don't have it I am usually dragging all day. I have also grown to really like the taste. I crave it like I crave other drinks!
that's one thing i don't need to feel awake..if anything i get jittery and spastic! not a good look!
Ummmm, I have seriously been going to Starbucks every single day for the past month. It's addicting.
umm how dependent am i? tooooo dependent. dont even bother talking to me before ive had my coffee. it's kinda sad.
OOOOHHHH how I miss coffee!! Being that I am 5 months preggo coffee has been cut out of my morning must haves- it made me really sad for the first few months, but now I don't creave it as much- I do have to say looking at the yummy picture you posted did make me want an ice coffee!! Hope you have a great weekend!
I don't drink coffee either, but each day this week I've had either a fancy coffee (fat free) or tea and I honestly believe it's made me a nicer person and like I enjoy life that much more. I know it sounds strange, but I think it's helping me have better days!
I love tea - any kind of tea! But, the energy drinks are sometimes what I crave in the morning for the carbonation. I actually went totally caffeine free for about a month and felt like I was going to die. But only for the first week... Then I actually felt pretty good! But...as you know, life gets in the way sometimes, and I'm back to drinking caffeine. Just not quite as much as before. I think I have 3 to 4 cups of tea a day. The taste of coffee just hasn't been my favorite ever! :)
