Texas State Fair

fair

The Texas State Fair happens 3 weeks out of the year.  After a hot summer, it is a welcomed fall activity.  There are rides, animals, exhibits and plenty of fried food.  There is actually an annual contest for the most creative food item and the item with the best taste.  This year's "most creative" winner was Fried Bubble Gum and Buffalo Chicken in a Flapjack won "best taste".  Together I'd say they both win for "best tummy ache"!  Below are some sights and smells from the Texas State Fair.
