Happy Thanksgiving from the Newlymeds.
This year was our first Thanksgiving spent without our families. For me this was particularly challenging, but I am Thankful that Doctor J and I were still able to spend some quality time together over the holiday. I am also thankful for our Dallas friends that have become like family and for including us in their holiday celebrations.
Residency can have its challenges, but there is still SO much to be thankful for!

You both are adorable! I'm glad you had each other to spend the holiday together, but know how hard it can be to be away from family too!

Glad your Thanksgiving was good even though the rest of the fam couldn't be with you! :)
No tears on the Turkey . . . !
Love the blog. My fiance is a 4th year medical student and we are anxiously awaiting match day! I love reading about your adventures as newlyweds and also the challenges of residency. It's a loooooong road but we're trying to enjoy it as much as possible!
Glad you had a good Thanksgiving - hope you get to spend it with your family soon!
