On working out while pregnant

The other day I was heading to the gym feeling like a rock star.  I was pretty sick in my first trimester, so it feels great to feel "normal" again.  My energy was back, I was not nauseous and I was ready to sweat.  I was applauding myself for being pregnant AND working out.

Now fast forward 30 minutes, after my light gym workout, and I was passed out on the couch!  

You would think I had just completed a marathon.

Yes, it is slightly more exhausting to work out while pregnant, but I have found the silver lining.  Staying active has helped me feel better and more like myself.

Newlymed Note: A 30 minute jaunt at the gym will require a 2 hour nap!

It does become difficult but it's SO worth the 30 minutes! I can't believe how much better I feel if I can work out everyday. (But I miss being able to work out much longer ;)

By the way, You look GREAT!!

You look great! You're doing WAY better than me. I didn't have any nausea but can't find any motivation to hit the gym when I get home from work!

Great job working out in your third trimester! My one regret is that I didn't work out as much as I should have. I would have been much more comfortable in my last few weeks of pregnancy. :)
